Professional boxer Ffloyd Mayweather, 37, the world's highest earning sportsman and self branded as the CEO of "The Money Team", said to never be short of his entourage of 40+ at any given time - has been reported to have been charged with kidnapping and attempted murder.
Mayweathers love of jewellery is known by many and on occassion he has been said to have been wearing one million dollars plus worth of jewellery on his person at one time! Sources have reportedly informed TMZ Sports that the two men involved were initially hired to work at Flloyd Mayweathers Vegas home. Jewellery allegedly went missing during this time which aparantly led to Mayweather pointing the finger at the two men.
It has been alleged that this led to Mayweather leading a savage attack on the two men. The men said that they were contacted and aksed to meet with Mayweather, who banked over £60 million in 2013. They were then reported to have been brutally attacked by five division world champion Mayweather and a number of his staff. The scene was described by a person close to the camp as 'a scene out of Goodfellas' - the popular 90's gangster film and it was reported that the two men, who's arms and legs were smashed, could have died from their injuries.
Undisclosed sources say weapons were used including bats, clubs and pipes - yet the two men, admitted to hospital with broken bones, were said to have professed their innocence.It has also now been reported that Mayweather no longer thinks that the men had stolen anything from his Las Vega property.
The lawyer, hired by the two men has told police to bring charges of attempted murder, mayhem and kidnappping, alongside his henchmen.
Mayweather also recieved a previous one year suspended jail sentence back in 2004 for the charge of battery against two women. That same year he was also fined for battery against a bouncer in a bar.
The boxers spokesman has declined to comment on the allegations.
