Kanye West always seems to know how to be 'world news' by doing something "extra" to get tongues wagging! This week he certainly didn't disappoint on that front and decided that he would make such happen in his wife, Kim Kardashian's, native country Armenia!
On 12th April 2015 Kanye had to allegedly be rescued by security during a surprise free concert he did in Armenia, after he jumped into the lake during his performance and fans followed him in full of both awe and delight at the spectacle!
In the video (shown below) the rapper is seen jumping into the lake during his performance of "Good Life" and then it appears the mic stops working in the water as he appears to stumble a few times while attempting to carry on with his performance in the water.
The concert was being live streamed through Youtube as part of a high profile trip that Kanye took with his wife Kim Kardashian, who is originally of Armenian in heritage. The trip appears to have been a last minute affair for Kim after that Kardashian tweeted: "Crazy night! Kanye wakes me up and says he's doing a free concert in Yerevan, Armenia! I throw on my sweats & we go!"! She the tweeted "Thousands of people were there! Kanye jumped in swan lake to be closer to the crowd on the other side & so many people jumped in too!" - she seemed as shocked about it all as the rest of us!

Excited fans followed West into the lake, where the rapper then had to be allegedly rescued from a crowd of fans and photographers as they waded in for this once in a lifetime chance to get close to the rapper! During the concert Kanye West performed six songs including, ‘Stronger’, ‘Jesus Walks,’ ‘Power,’ ‘Touch The Sky’ and ‘All of The Lights,’ all before the gig was cut short!
